Field service for mining operations that run haulage, drilling and blasting underground, not just break-fix visits.
A mining work order carries information a generic one does not: which level, zone and stope the crew is in, the grade and tonnage moved, and the blast permit and shot-firer sign-off that regulators expect. This bridge adds those fields onto the core work order, gated so they only appear on mining work, plus mining heavy-equipment types, mining skills and safety checklists. It reuses the generic shift, gas-monitoring, lockout/tagout, meter-based maintenance and load-ticket capability in the core module, so a mining crew gets the full operations picture with a thin, focused add-on.

Mining zones / headings — a persistent field.service.mining.zone record per active heading with its day and night crews, a stage board (drilling, blasting, ground support, haulage) and production roll-ups. Native production units — drilling/bolting metres and hauled tonnage roll up in native Odoo units of measure (uom.uom), configurable per site to metres or feet, tonnes or kilograms.
Underground location — level, zone and stope fields on the work order, shown on a Mining tab gated by the computed is_mining_order field.
Production and blasting — ore grade, blast permit number, shot-firer certification and a ground-control check.
Heavy-equipment types — haul truck, excavator, LHD/scoop, drill rig, crusher, conveyor, dozer and grader on equipment and maintenance plans.
Mining data — seeds mining gas species, Ore and Waste-Rock materials, mining skills and auto-applied blasting/drilling/ground-support checklists.
Hour-based maintenance — a Haul Truck 250h plan driving the core meter-based maintenance engine.
Soft CNESST escalation — raises a safety escalation, filing a formal CNESST incident when that bridge is installed, otherwise recording a note.
Integrates With
