What this solves
Lynx IAP Lead Mining Estimate
Odoo's lead generation form asks how many leads you want and then spends prepaid credits to get them, without ever showing the price. The customer only learns the cost by running the search, and only learns it is too expensive when the request fails on insufficient credit.
This module prices the request on the form, before it is submitted, using the live rate card published by the Lynx IAP hub.
Key Features
Cost estimate - shows the credits a request will consume, derived from the requested lead count and the hub's current per-lead rate.
Balance in context - shows the wallet balance next to the estimate, so "60 credits" can be read against what is actually available.
Shortfall warning - states plainly when a request costs more than the remaining balance, instead of failing after submission.
Rate card caching - the hub rate is cached briefly, so pricing the form does not make a network call on every keystroke.
Degrades quietly - if the hub is unreachable the estimate is hidden and the standard form behaves exactly as before.
Auto-Installation
Installs automatically once both crm_iap_mine and lynx_iap are present. Pricing is a property of the existing form rather than a separate feature to enable, and a customer spending credits should never have to opt in to seeing what they cost.
