Lynx Learning - Certification Spine
The single point where every Lynx training engine records that an employee completed training: a native hr.employee.skill certification row on the learner's employee record. That row is the transcript of record and appears on the employee Certifications tab, so completions from eLearning courses and from survey exams land in one place with the same validity and expiry handling.
Instead of each training module inventing its own completion tracking, this module gives them one shared issuing method and wires the two native delivery engines to it. Courses and exams simply declare which certification they grant and for how long.
Key Features
Unified issuing method - lynx.learning.certification._issue_certification creates or renews an employee certification with a validity window, idempotent per day so a double completion never breaks the native overlap constraint.
eLearning completion - any slide.channel course can declare a certification and a validity period; finishing the course records it on the learner's employee record.
Survey exam completion - any survey.survey exam can declare a certification; passing the exam (by the survey's own required score) records it, tagged with the achieved percentage.
Certification transcript - repeated completions add dated certification rows, keeping a full history of when each credential was earned and renewed.
Employee resolution - resolves the learner's employee from the training partner via the linked user or work contact, so portal and internal learners are both handled.
