Pluggable adapter framework that pulls public tenders from MERX, SAP Ariba, govcan, and govab into Lynx RFP as draft tenders for buyer review - so issuers and resellers reuse external listings instead of re-keying them.
Many issuers publish on multiple platforms or want to mirror opportunities from upstream marketplaces (federal, provincial). This module ships pluggable Python adapters for the major Canadian sources, normalises each adapter's payload to purchase.requisition fields, and creates draft public tenders so buyer staff review and publish through the standard Lynx RFP workflow.
Key Features
CanadaBuys (live) - pulls the public CanadaBuys open-tender open-data feed (no credentials) and imports open federal/provincial solicitations, with optional keyword/category/volume filters.
Built-in adapters - Government of Canada (CanadaBuys, live); MERX, SAP Ariba Discovery and Government of Alberta scaffolded (activate once source API access is provisioned).
Pluggable pattern - each adapter is a Python subclass of IngestionAdapter; new sources require no model changes.
Draft creation - ingested opportunities arrive as state='draft' tenders for review before publication.
Field normalisation - adapters map source-specific payloads to canonical Lynx tender fields.
Schedulable - cron-driven ingestion runs at the cadence each adapter supports.
