Lynx Licensing - Feature Subscription Bridge
Sell individual licensing.feature add-ons as recurring subscriptions that attach to a customer's existing license, rather than minting a new license. Each add-on is its own subscription: it renews independently and, when it lapses or is cancelled, only that feature is revoked while the base license stays active.
This is the per-feature analogue of lynx_licensing_sale_subscription (which drives whole-license validity). It introduces a feature entitlement line per (license, feature) with its own validity window and provenance, and wires the sale.subscription lifecycle to those lines.
Key Features
Feature add-on products - is_license_feature + license_feature_id mark a product as granting a feature.
Subscription validity - feature_validity_source = subscription ties the feature to a recurring subscription period.
Auto-grant on confirm - confirming the order spins up one subscription per feature line and grants the entitlement on the buyer's active license.
Renewal extension - when the subscription period advances, the entitlement's validity extends automatically.
Lapse revocation - closing/cancelling the subscription revokes only that feature; the base license is untouched.
Activation backfill - subscriptions bought before a license exists are granted when the license activates.
Public add-on catalog - /lynx/addons?features=<codes> lists the matching sellable add-ons; the tenant-side upgrade dialog links here so customers can buy, refresh their license, and install in one sitting.
Auto-Installation
Installs automatically when both lynx_licensing_sale and lynx_sale_subscription are present.
