Lynx Mining - Ore Inventory

Turn haulage load tickets into real inventory: ore and waste as tracked, valued stock

What this solves

Lynx Mining - Ore Inventory

Broken rock leaves the heading as a number on a load ticket and, until now, stayed a number. This module turns it into inventory: ore and waste become real products, hauled tonnage posts stock moves into stockpile locations, and every tonne carries the blast round it came from.

That single change is what lets the rest of the metallurgical chain exist. A processing bill of materials needs stock to consume; an assay needs a lot to attach to; mine-to-mill reconciliation needs a tonnage the ledger agrees with. Extraction data stops being a reporting side-channel and becomes the front of the supply chain.

Key Features

  • Materials become products - field.service.material gains a product_id and a real uom.uom, replacing the free-text unit. Ore is lot-tracked and valued; waste is tracked at a guaranteed zero cost.

  • Load tickets post stock moves - each ticket creates one stock.move with no picking overhead, immediately or batched at shift close. Posting never raises: a failure flags the ticket and a cron retries, so a stock hiccup cannot lose production data.

  • Blast rounds as records - the new mining.round model turns the zone's round counter into a first-class record carrying planned tonnes and grade, its work orders, its tickets and its lots.

  • Configurable lot granularity - one lot per round per material by default, because the round is the assay unit. Truckload and campaign granularity are available for mines that sample differently.

  • Stockpiles are locations - no parallel stockpile model. A stockpile is a stock.location whose level is its quants, linked one-to-one to the work site where inventory is actually held.

  • Reconciliation instead of double counting - ticket tonnage and stock tonnage are computed independently and never summed. Their difference is surfaced as a variance, turning a data-integrity hazard into a KPI.

Integrates With

  • lynx_field_service_mining - mining zones, the drill/blast/support/haul cycle and the existing load-ticket flow.

  • stock / stock_account - locations, lots, quants and per-lot valuation.

  • uom - real units of measure for tonnage.

Models

  • mining.round - one blasted round of one heading.

  • field.service.material - extended with product, unit and routing defaults.

  • field.service.load.ticket - extended with lot, locations and its move.
