Lynx CNESST - Compliance Bridge
Two CNESST obligations are governance work rather than safety work: the employer must have a psychological and sexual harassment prevention policy, kept accessible to personnel and forming part of the prevention program since 1 October 2025, and must be able to show that designated representatives completed their mandatory training.
Lynx already models both properly — lynx.policy carries versions, owners and signature-backed attestations, lynx.training.program carries assignments and completion. This bridge points the CNESST records at them rather than growing a second, thinner copy inside lynx_cnesst.
The bridge is where the hard dependency on the compliance framework lives. lynx_cnesst itself stays standalone, so a Quebec employer who only wants the register, the declarations and the prevention mechanisms installs that alone and is not dragged onto the GRC stack.
Key Features
Harassment policy link - the prevention program points at a lynx.policy, so the mandatory harassment policy is version controlled, owned and attestable rather than a free-text field.
Policy coverage check - a prevention program whose harassment policy is missing or has no published version is reported as an outstanding obligation on its establishment.
Mandatory training through the framework - a designation links to a lynx.training.program, and completing the assignment records the CNESST training date on the designation.

Installation
Installed deliberately, not automatically, even though its dependencies make it a natural auto-install. Odoo resolves auto-installs inside button_install by writing the module's state directly, so they never pass through the licence gate — an auto-installing module carrying lynx_required_feature would hand out its own paid entitlement to any tenant that happened to have the dependencies. Requiring a deliberate install keeps the compliance.cnesst add-on behind the gate.
