Lynx Documents - Backend Document Management
A backend (employee-facing) document management application for Odoo 19 Community Edition, replacing the Enterprise-only Documents app. Files are organised in workspaces and folder trees, tagged, ordered, versioned and shared, while the bytes live in S3-compatible object storage through the existing Lynx storage stack.
Odoo Community ships no Documents app, so staff have no single place to browse, organise and meter their files. This module adds a first-class Documents app: a folder/workspace tree on the left (rendered by the search panel), a document list and kanban in the centre, per-document sharing, full version history, and storage-usage gauges that reuse the company storage quota measurements.

Workspaces and folders - hierarchical folder tree per workspace with manual ordering and computed full-path names.
Versioning - every upload creates a new immutable object version while the document keeps a single identity; full history is retained.
Tags - faceted tags (category + tag) for cross-cutting classification.
Sharing - per-document access rows granting view, edit or manage rights, enforced by record rules and a write guard.
Object storage - bytes are written to the company S3 backend via storage.backend; uploads are gated on the company storage quota.
Usage gauges - local filestore and object-storage usage surfaced from the existing storage.quota measurements.
Multi-file upload - a wizard accepts several files at once into the selected folder.
