Lynx Field Service - CCQ Construction Competency (Québec)
Every worker on a Québec construction site must carry a valid CCQ (Commission de la construction du Québec) competency card naming their trade and apprentice/journeyman class. This bridge puts that card on the technician record dispatch already uses, so a construction job never gets assigned to someone whose card has lapsed.
Generic field service tracks skills, certifications and tools per technician, but has no notion of the CCQ card a Québec construction worker is legally required to hold. This bridge adds the card number, trade (métier), class and expiry directly onto hr.employee, plus a non-stored validity flag so dispatchers see at a glance whether the card is current, without a database column to keep in sync every night.
Key Features
CCQ competency card fields - ccq_competency_card_no, ccq_trade and ccq_class capture the card number, métier (charpentier-menuisier, plombier, couvreur, électricien, frigoriste, ferblantier, grutier, manœuvre) and CCQ class (apprenti 1re-4e période, compagnon, occupation) exactly as printed on the card.
Card expiry tracking - ccq_card_expiry records the renewal date dispatch needs to plan around.
Live validity flag - ccq_card_valid is computed on read from today's date against the expiry, so it is always current without a background job re-stamping stale records.
CCQ Competency page - the card fields surface on their own page of the technician form, next to the core's existing Skills & Certifications page.
CCQ trade skill category - a new ccq_construction skill category joins the existing skill categories, with six ready-made hr.skill rows (one per major CCQ trade) for dispatch matching.
