Couriers and route drivers get delivery service types and proof-of-delivery capture on the same work order engine every other field service crew uses.
Generic field service work orders track a customer, a schedule and a technician, but they miss what a parcel drop actually needs on site: how many packages, whether the recipient signed for them or the driver had to leave them at the door, and why a stop failed when it does. This bridge adds those delivery-specific service types and fields directly onto field.service.order, plus a ready-made checklist template and courier skill categories so dispatch can match the right driver to the right route from day one.
Key Features
Delivery service types - adds Parcel Delivery, Pickup and Return Pickup to service_type via selection_add.
Proof of Delivery group - package_count, tracking_ref, delivered_to_name, left_at_door, delivery_notes and failed_reason capture what happened at the door, without duplicating the core's existing customer_signature or photo_ids fields.
Route stop tracking - stop_sequence records a work order's position on a multi-stop route.
Delivery Details page - the new fields surface on a dedicated work order page, gated to the delivery service types so generic orders stay uncluttered, with a note pointing to the Completion and Photos tabs for signature and photo capture.
Checklist template - Delivery Confirmation auto-applies through the core's checklist-template matching.
Courier skill category - Courier / Route Driving joins the existing skill categories, with three ready-made hr.skill rows for dispatch matching.
