Fuel delivery and dangerous-goods transport for field service crews that move gasoline, propane and other regulated cargo, not just parts and labour.
Fuel haulers and tank-inspection crews carry compliance obligations a generic work order doesn't capture: UN numbers, hazard classes, placarding, bills of lading and spill-kit checks that regulators and insurers expect on every delivery. This bridge adds those fields directly onto the core field.service.order, gated so they only appear on dangerous-goods work, plus the driver skills and a pre-trip checklist template dispatchers need to put a compliant crew and truck on the road.
Key Features
Dangerous-goods service types — adds fuel_delivery, tank_inspection and hazmat_transport to the core work order's service type list via selection_add.
Dangerous Goods field group — product delivered, volume in litres, compartment number, UN number, hazard class, placard requirement, bill of lading, TREMCARD/ERG reference and spill-kit check, shown on a dedicated form page gated by the computed is_dangerous_goods field.
Signature-on-delivery enforcement — action_complete blocks completion of a dangerous-goods order until the customer signature is captured, when dg_signature_required is set.
Driver skill set — seeds TDG-certified driver, hazmat handling, tanker operation and gas-free testing as hr.skill rows so dispatch can require them on a work order.
Pre-trip checklist templates — ships field.service.checklist.template rows for fuel delivery and tank inspection covering spill kit, placards, bonding/grounding, compartment gauges and bill-of-lading verification, auto-applied through the core template mechanism.
Integrates With
lynx_field_service — extends field.service.order and the field.service.checklist.template / hr.skill data mechanisms it provides; no new models are introduced.
